Routing Instructions

Shipping Window

Products must be routed up to 48 hours before the Fanatics start ship date and on or before the Fanatics cancel date. Check the Fanatics purchase order to ensure that the shipment is still within its shipping window prior to routing.

Consolidation

Consolidate all purchase orders to submit no more than two routing requests per week out of the SAME facility/addressee and to the same destination, unless you receive prior written authorization from your buyer. Hot market and similar time-sensitive merchandise can be an exception. Check with your buyer for clearance.

Pallet Limits

  • Palletize and shrink-wrap all cartons on orders exceeding 300lbs. Combine multiple orders on one bill of lading when shipping to the same address. When combining multiple POs on a pallet, use a cardboard or equivalent divider to separate each PO.
  • Place a packing slip inside or attached to the outside of the lead carton, and mark this box "lead carton" and "1" of total number of cartons. Mark each subsequent box with a sequential number. Example: 2 of 5, 3 of 5,etc.
  • Each carton must not exceed 55lbs or have dimensions of 27" H x 32" L x 24" W.
  • Total pallet height must not exceed 6’ and allow for double stacking in transit.

All Fanatics POs MUST be routed through our Transportation Management System (TMS) at the link below 48 hours before expected pick-up (with the exception of Hot Market-see section 4.6.1). Note that each vendor will have a single TMS log in and password. If you do not have your log in information, send a request for such to Traffic@fanatics.com with your most recently shipped PO number.

Work instructions for routing through the tool are provided when log in information is requested. There are regularly scheduled training sessions for using the tool and additional training can be added by request. NOTE THAT THE MOST CURRENT WORK INSTRUCTION WILLBE MAINTAINED IN THE “VENDOR NEWS” PORTLET ON YOUR TMS LOGIN SCREEN.

All Fanatics POs must be routed through the TMS regardless of size and even if buyer has already provided shipping instructions. Parcel labels, shipment BOLs, tracking information and billing are all done through the TMS and failure to follow required routing may result in rejected deliveries or chargebacks. Labels or a completed BOL will be sent to you as routing instruction. The labels/BOL sent to you MUST be used to ship to Fanatics.

Routings are performed daily based on the requests active in the TMS. Please note that for non-Hot Market POs, routing instructions may not be provided to the requestor for up to 48 hours after routing is submitted. Please refrain from sending follow-up messages unless your shipment is Hot Market.
